The Aeon~Judgment~Our Own Personal Resurrection by Kristine Marie

…And the water returns…

…And can you love it unconditional my friend?

Spread it out from beginning to the end.

Spread it out across all the four seasons,

Forgive all your sins and you can love without reason.

I’ve been thinking about it, what does it all mean?

To have a simple heart and to keep both of my hands clean.

Wandering the village, I’ve been wandering the land,

Following the song in the hopes to overstand, my man,

You need to reach out your hand,

To forgive both ways like the sweet sunrays.

Plant a couple trees for the ones we’ll never see,

It’s beyond you and me, beyond what we see.

I’m waiting, waiting on the fable, waiting on the song,

I’ll be waiting on the angel,

Waiting for the bliss to come kiss,

Both lids upon my eyes, waiting for the righteous to rise…

…And the Water returns…

If you knew what you were for

And how you became so informed?

Bodies of info performing such miracles

I am a miracle made up of particles

And in this existence

I’ll stay persistent

And I’ll make a difference

And I will have lived it

So here we are, at my 22nd article; the final step in our journey together through this cycle of the 22 cards of the major arcana. Regardless of whether I planned to write about a specific card or not each month, the cards each chose its own time to be presented, and this final card, the aeon – judgement card, seems apropos, as it represents a time of one’s own personal resurrection. This is the completion of this round of the Fool’s Journey, in the major arcana, and I suppose also in this latest journey of my own inner fool. According to, as a part of the fool’s journey, the judgement card represents:

“The Fool has been reborn. His false, ego-self has been shed, allowing his radiant, true self to manifest. He has discovered that joy, not fear, is at life’s center. The Fool feels absolved. He forgives himself and others, knowing that his real self is pure and good. He may regret past mistakes, but he knows they were due to his ignorance of his true nature. He feels cleansed and refreshed, ready to start anew.

It is time for the Fool to make a deeper Judgement (20) about his life. His own personal day of reckoning has arrived. Since he now sees himself truly, he can make the necessary decisions about the future. He can choose wisely which values to cherish, and which to discard. The angel on Card 20 is the Fool’s Higher Self calling him to rise up and fulfill his promise. He discovers his true vocation – his reason for entering this life. Doubts and hesitations vanish, and he is ready to follow his dream.”

In this card, from the Sun and Moon Tarot deck that works with me, three people are rising from the waters into the song of the new age being played by the angel flying above. The card symbolizes resurrection, a new consciousness arising from all of the divergent perspectives, trials and tribulations of the journey that have come before.

The aeon represents that miracle that announces itself when the tension of the opposites has been held with all of the love and grace and courage that it takes to honor oneself and at the same time honor another (and others) whose perspective differs completely from one’s own. The Fool in each of us makes the journey through all of the other cards and has had the opportunity to learn and grow, to see oneself and the world through many differing and changing landscapes and environments and at all times of day and night. We have been able to look deeply inside and out to see the mirrors available to all of us and have been offered access to the capacity to forgive ourselves and everyone else.

Now is the time to understand That all your ideas of right and wrong Were just a child’s training wheels To be laid aside When you finally live With veracity And love. ~ Hafiz

This is the transition, the transformation from the dualistic perspective of right and wrong into the holistic point/periphery perspective which honors that we all see the point differently from our place along the sphere where we view it. And for each of us, that perspective is right and correct, regardless of its difference from anyone else’s within the entire sphere, even/especially from that of the opposite view! Like that tale of the 4 blind nuns each touching one part of an elephant; each one is sure that an elephant is the part they are holding: ear, trunk, leg, tail. And yet to view the entire elephant in this manner, we would need several more blind nuns to touch every available aspect of the elephant and then bring them all together in order to obtain a realistic view of the entire beautiful being. When we honor, love and stand in the authenticity of our own perspective and point of view, we then have the capacity to do the same for everyone else. There is no right or wrong from this point of view, only a myriad of perspectives that are all necessary to see the situation in its entirety. I imagine that this is how God/dess sees the world, literally through our eyes.

I have learned so much from God that I can no longer call myself a Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Jew. The Truth has shared so much of Itself with me that I can no longer call myself a man, a woman, an angel, or even a pure Soul. Love has befriended me so completely it has turned to ash and freed me of every concept and image my mind has ever known.

As the fool, when we have journeyed this far along the spiral of life, for the 1st time or the 100th time, we are reminded again to open our mind and expand our world, to honor and love ourselves, to forgive ourselves and everyone around us as we all bumble around together on this journey of unlimited instantaneous spirits incarnated into limited time bound physical human bodies.

And at this time in human history, just after the turning the of the Mayan calendar, we are supposedly all waking up; our DNA is transforming, with the birth of the new sun, from 3 strands to 12 strands and our bodies are transitioning from carbon based to crystalline…And, if it’s true, as a friend just mentioned to me, that as humans we are always making up stories about everything anyway, I like this story of evolution and transformation, so I’ve bought in and am utilizing my current growing pains as evidence that I, along with the rest of the world, am transforming and evolving, resurrecting myself. This is my (our) own personal Resurrection. (Thank you, Depeche Mode, for the concept to expand on!)

Reach out and touch faith

Your own personal Jesus

Someone to hear your prayers

Someone who cares…

…Someone who’s there

Feeling unknown

And you’re all alone

Flesh and bone

By the telephone

Lift up the receiver

I’ll make you a believer…

…Things on your chest

You need to confess

I will deliver

You know I’m a forgiver…

I recently saw High Society at SBCC and was so touched at what I felt to be the main theme of that lovely production. That in acknowledging human frailty and loving each other regardless of/throughout our imperfections we enter into a grown up love, a truly human love. This is a powerful and sometimes difficult journey, especially when our culture has so many opinions on what how when and where we should do and be.

In this my own fool’s journey it has taken a long time to ground lovingly into the authenticity with which I live my life rather than be influenced by or reactionary to society’s insistence that I appear/strive to be something else; believe what is being offered on the tv and in the news, in the papers and on the internet. As I have learned to shift my perspective from seeking external validation (which was rarely forthcoming), to accessing my internal validation and navigation system, I’ve found it essential to be authentically myself, no matter what. A dear friend recently told me that he felt it was actually dangerous for me to be as authentically myself as I am and he truly seemed concerned for me. And yet, from my perspective, it is dangerous, harmful even, to be anything else. In fact, when I was trying to be anything other than exactly who I am, I was depressed, sick in body and mind, often unhappy, judging myself and everyone else from some external version of reality that did not belong to me.

“…When we’re deeply centered in ourselves, we’re strong enough to open to the pain of the world without being destroyed by it. We can then contribute to collective healing, becoming agents of creation instead of victims of tyranny and chaos.”

~ Jude Dulhunty, Astro*Magic Astrological Services

As I began to just BE myself, regardless of anyone else’s opinions or perspectives, I have been able to actually begin to truly LOVE myself. And then, miracle of miracles, I began to see that same love and acceptance in most everyone else. I still have my filters, and places I get caught up in, but when I’m able to recognize my distress for what it is, come back into my own heart and breathe through those instances, love becomes my compass and shows me the way. Nothing is actually personal, other people are simply living their lives through their own filters and feeling similarly distressed. When I am authentically and absolutely myself, they then have permission to be themselves. To be a witness to/in the presence of anyone’s personal resurrection is to begin to imagine into one’s own personal resurrection. That personal resurrection can be the ultimate expression of the individuation process.

So, this month, as we approach the Great American Solar Eclipse in Leo on Monday, August 21st, let’s all be bold and courageous and look inside and let our hearts help us navigate our personal resurrections; offer love to ourselves and each other. If you want some powerful and beautiful information on the eclipse (and this summer’s entire eclipse season), which has some echoes of the aeon – judgement card as we’ve been discussing, please check out this webinar offered by Kaypacha and the New Paradigm Astrology Cooperative (LINKED).

The more authentic I become, aligning with the spirit/soul/body/mind integrity of me, the more attracted I am to others who feel as authentic. Kaypacha, as an Astrologer and a model for authenticity is such a character and so much himself and so completely willing to just put it out there exactly as he is in every moment. Some amazing musician-poets who offer a similar kind of integrity and authenticity along with the strength of vulnerability and deep profound authentic sharing of their journey with the culture and the counterculture, not to mention their personal spiritual journeys, are Trevor Hall and Nahko Bear (Nahko & Medicine For The People) (I have linked many of their songs in my articles and there are several in this one). These two millennials, in their early 30s, speak to me on several levels, in incredibly powerful ways. I feel them singing in the new paradigm, the new age, calling forth my entire being into this new age that I am rising up towards, just like the figures on the card.

So come by on Saturday, August 12 (I traded in the 4th Friday this month), and we can integrate and align your own personal resurrection in preparation for the Great American Eclipse with some new fangled, new paradigm re-framing, that is the essence of Transformational Tarot!

What Happens

What happens when your soul
Begins to awaken
Your eyes
And your heart
And the cells of your body
To the great Journey of Love?

First there is wonderful laughter
And probably precious tears

And a hundred sweet promises
And those heroic vows
No one can ever keep.

But still God is delighted and amused
You once tried to be a saint.

What happens when your soul
Begins to awake in this world

To our deep need to love
And serve the Friend?

O the Beloved
Will send you
One of His wonderful, wild companions – Like Hafiz.
